Independent ventilation

The independent ventilation function can be activated in ignition lock position OFF or in ignition lock position terminal R by means of the multi-information display (MID). Various settings are possible dependent on the ignition lock position.

Statuses at ignition lock terminal R:

• Temperature control not active (water valves closed)
  
• Flap program adjustable
  
• Blower adjustable
  
• Function lights ON
  
• Button pad not active (rear window defogger, recirculated air and air conditioning)
  

Statuses at ignition lock OFF:

• Temperature control not active (water valves open)
  
• Fresh air/recirculated air flap position set to fresh air
  
• Mixing air flap position unchanged
  
• Ventilation flap position open
  
• Blower set to stage 2
