The rear compartment temperature is controlled by regulating the blow-out temperature. This is achieved with the aid of the blow-out temperature sensor in the centre grille of the rear compartment blower as well as the rear compartment flap installed on the IHKA which permits the settings WARM, COLD and CLOSED.
The temperature is selected by way of the upper rocker switch in the operating unit. The temperature is indicated from 16-32 degrees Celsius (60-90 degrees Fahrenheit) in an LCD display.
The IHKA receives the request to set the flap position by means of telegrams on the K-bus.
