Logging Siemens CKPH on and off

Logging Siemens CKPH on and off

A CKPH can be logged on with the aid of the WDCT switch, which is located in the eject box. It is also possible to log on two CKPHs (tandem system). Before each renewed log-on, it is essential to log off beforehand the handset which was previously in operation. Only then will it be guaranteed that the memory in the control unit needed for logging on is not blocked up with old data. Both memory locations are cleared during logging off. Even mobile parts which have not been replaced must then be logged on again.

Note: If a BIT 2 control unit is replaced, the associated CKPH must be logged off beforehand!

If it is no longer possible to log off in the control unit, the CKPH can also be logged off directly. To do so, switch off the CKPH. Press and hold keys 1-4-7 simultaneously and press the 'on' switch. ”Mobile Element Service” appears in the CKPH. Then enter the code 78728 and select ”Log off”. After ”OK has been entered” twice, the CKPH is logged off.
