   Installation of the multichannel adapter MKA (parts number 121310)
   
2. Adapter test
   Test of proper functioning of the MKA
   
3. Identification
   Identification of the engine systems fitted in the vehicle
   
4. Fault code memory
   Read out the DME fault code memory
   
5. Warm-up
   Warm-up of the engine until a coolant temperature of 90 °C is reached
   
6. Ignition signal
   Automatic measurement of the primary voltage of the ignition coil; evaluation of the signal patterns
   
7. Injection signal
   Automatic registration of the activation signals of the fuel injector valves; evaluation of the signal patterns
   
8. Stop the engine
