2-axle air spring ride-height-calibration

After work on the air suspension system involving the control unit, correction values must be entered in the control unit. These correction values are determined automatically and entered in the control unit in this test module after entering the rim size and actual values.

Service function

Ride-height-calibration must be carried out after the following operations:

- Replacement of the control unit

- Replacement of one or both of the height-level sensors

- Replacement of the wiring harness

Before the ride-height-calibration is run, the following points must be observed:

The vehicle must be in a horizontal position.

The chassis must not be tensioned.

The air suspension must have ceased operation (to be safe, switch the engine on and off).

The supply must be ensured (check battery voltage).

During the ride-height-calibration, the vehicle must not be loaded or unloaded.

Before calibration, check the height once again.

After the ride-height-calibration, the assembly line mode is automatically deleted. Due to factors inherent in the system, the control starts while the vehicle is being driven.

As soon as the service test module issues the message ”the ride-height-calibration has been carried out successfully”, the module is concluded. A possible slight inclination or missing control can be balanced out as follows:

- Switch the disconnect on and off or

- Loading and subsequent unloading with at least 200 kg.
