Eccentric shaft calibration

• The Digital Engine Electronics compare the smooth-running values of the two cylinder banks
  
• To improve the idle-running performance, the ”slower” cylinder bank is accelerated by adjusting the eccentric shaft.
  
• The adjustment range is a maximum of 5°.
  

System without faults

• For one bank, a value of 0° ... 4.9° is displayed.
  
• For the other bank, a value of 0° is displayed.
  

System defective

• For one bank, a constant value of 5° is displayed.
  
• In this case, the test module offers a correction.
