Power window functions
Power window functions
- Panic mode:
If the window is blocked during automatic movement (one-touch control function) or the anti-trapping mechanism responds and the window moves back (reverses), renewed operation of the power window switch can override the anti-trapping mechanism. The window then closes, even against resistance (for example if someone wants to force entry into the vehicle).
- Initialisation:
Learning the power window characteristic curve (required for co-ordination of the anti-trapping mechanism on the rear power windows). Only the rear power windows work according to a different principle and therefore do not have to be initialised.
- Standardisation:
Learning the window position. In the case of a de-standardised window, the power window electronics have lost the start and end position of the window.
- One-touch control function:
Automatic movement by pulling back the power window switch.
