CBS pre-delivery check

1. Deactivate transport mode.
   
2. The phone numbers for
   -BMW dealer (service dept. or switchboard)
   -BMW Technical Advice
   -BMW Roadside Assistance
   ensure there is contact from the vehicle to the service centres. Entering the phone numbers with international dialling codes also ensures customer contact across national borders.
   
3. Entry vehicle inspection
   The vehicle inspection is legally prescribed in certain countries.
   Depending on national legislation, the CBS function for the vehicle inspection can be activated/deactivated.
   The inspection intervals for vehicle inspections are entered in months. They start from the date of 1st registration of the vehicle onwards.
   
4. The exhaust-gas test is legally prescribed in certain countries.
   Depending on national legislation, the CBS function for the exhaust-gas test can be activated/deactivated.
   The inspection intervals for exhaust-gas tests are entered in months. They start from the date of 1st registration of the vehicle onwards.
   
5. The on-board date from the vehicle is compared with the tester date and corrected if necessary.
   
6. By entering the date of first registration, the inspection intervals for the statutory vehicle inspection and exhaust-gas test are set.
   
7. Vehicles with SA605, SA607, SA612 or SA6AA have the functionality TeleService.
   Here, if required, the CBS data is sent from the vehicle to the home dealer or central service centres.
