Notes on function

The main control unit for the central-locking system function is the Car Access System, CAS. It receives the signals of the remote control and the switch and sends the commands for locking and unlocking across the K-CAN to the door modules and the body base module.

The central-locking drives for the front doors are activated by each of the door modules. An additional lock contact is connected at the door module of the driver's door.

The central-locking drives for the rear doors and the fuel filler door are activated by the body base module.

The ”Arm” function is only run if:

The fuel filler door is locked when the central-locking drives have been activated for ”Arm”.
