1.) Information on ventilation
The cooling system is to be ventilated in accordance with repair instructions RA 17 00 HX3. On the other hand, the cooling systems of Hydrogen 7 vehicles are to be refilled in accordance with document RA 17 00 HX2.
2.) Information on the thermal shock counter
The cooling systems in BMW Hydrogen 7 vehicles have been configured to meet very high demands. The coolant heat exchanger is involved in both the conditioning of the deep-cooled medium and preparation of the hydrogen for the purpose of combustion. As very high temperatures can occur in this component, the wear or material ageing of the coolant heat exchanger can be increased.
A ”dimension” for material ageing of the heat exchanger is provided by the thermal shock counter.
