The Chassis Integration Module (CIM) contains the following functions:
Control units
The CIM control unit is supplied with power via fuse F3 and terminal 30. The signals terminal R and terminal 15 are transmitted by the CAS control unit via the K-CAN SYSTEM to the CIM control unit. The communication with other control units and control elements is also via the K-CAN System. The only exceptions are the four wheel-speed signals of the wheel-speed sensors of the Dynamic Stability Control (DSC). These signals are transmitted directly from the DSC control unit to the CIM control unit across a separate line.
