The following information is issued using voice output:
The voice output is coded specifically according to country, where it is possible to choose between a male and female voice.
The content of the voice output is managed by the navigation computer. The notifications are placed for output on the MOST bus and controlled by the audio-system controller. The audio-system controller assigns priorities to the individual sources (navigation, PDC, radio...) and then outputs the information.
The navigation system consists of different subfunctions. The navigation computer is a node in the MOST network. The individual applications of the navigation system must be executable simultaneously at up to 3 operating positions. At the driver's operating position, functions are deactivated by speed thresholds. The picture information is output via RGB lines to the control display and in the form of a telegram to the instrument cluster.
The audio system controller is the audio master in the MOST network. The ASK makes the appropriate channels available for audio output. The ASK increases the volume of the voice output compared with the Entertainment output.
The navigation notifications are output through the front speakers.
