The cable of the fanfare horn in the steering wheel might have been routed inadvertently across a copper rivet or the plastic border of the screw. This can mean that the cable is squeezed and the fanfare horn sounds sporadically or continuously without operation. This can continue until the fanfare horn burns out.

If the cables are routed as shown in 1 over the copper rivet or the screw, they must be secured again in the cable bracket and routed as shown in 2. This prevents that the cable is squeezed by the airbag.
