Front stop of rear floating headliner

Repair instruction for 'front stop of rear floating headliner incorrectly set'

Check the setting of the front stop of the rear floating headliner.

  1. Remove the headlining.
  2. Bring the floating headliner to the forward position.
  3. Check the position of the front end stop, see Fig. 1.
  4. If the position is not correct, the end stop can be put into the right position with light hammer blows.
  5. If the end stop is damaged or broken, it must be replaced with a new component from the service package.

The front end stop (1) must not protrude; it must be flush with the frame.
