For activation of the tank-ventilation valve, the on-board supply voltage must be greater than 10 Volts. Furthermore, the ignition must be switched on.
The valve is activated by a pulse-width modulated signal.
In the event of faults, the supply cable, the fuse, and the signal cable T_TEV must be checked alongside the component.
If fault 2A1A is entered, the cause can be a damaged or disconnected air supply line. Check the corresponding air hoses for leaks!
