Test of injector return flow volume DDE6.0

Accessories required for the test:

• Angle connector for injector return (1) with attached hose section
  
• Suitable measuring cap for diesel fuel
  

Procedure:

• Pull off the return line at the injector to be tested
  
• Close the removed return line (2)
  
• Attach the angle connector with hose section (1) to the injector return; insert the hose in the measuring cap
  
• Run the engine (idle); measure the return flow volume

   The test of the injector return volumes is only implemented for injectors with conventional solenoid valve technology. This test is not available for piezo injectors.
