Temperature control IHS/IHKS

Warm and cold air are mixed for the purpose of controlling the temperature. The required position of the temperature mixing flap is set at the rotary temperature control on the control panel/control unit. The outlet temperature is set by means of the temperature mixing flap. The temperature mixing flap is coupled by means of a stepper motor to the rotary control.

The temperature is controlled by mixing:

In the integrated heating system, fresh air and warmed air that flows through the heat exchanger are mixed.

Note:

There is no temperature correction with regard to changes in engine speed (e.g. idle speed and full load).
