Activation of central locking

The following points should be observed when activating the drives of the central locking system via the BMW diagnostic system:

Driver's door

Selection	Action
Lock door without central arrest	Driver's door is locked
Lock door with central arrest	Central arrest on all doors
Unlock door	All doors are unlocked

Front passenger's door and rear doors

Selection	Action
Lock door without central arrest	Front passenger door and rear doors are locked
Lock door with central arrest	Front passenger door and rear doors are arrested Driver's door is arrested if it was locked beforehand.
Unlock door	All doors are unlocked

Test

The status of the doors can be checked as follows:

Selection	Test
Lock door without central arrest	Door is locked however, it can be opened by pulling the inner door handle twice
Lock door with central arrest	The door can be opened neither with the outer door handle nor with the inner door handle
