The purpose of the accelerator pedal module is to pick up the driver request, convert it into an electrical variable and to forward this information in electrical form (electrical voltage) to the engine control unit. The sensing is by means of Hall sensors.
In the event of faults, the power supply and fuse components as well as the perfect condition of all cables must be checked.
