The suction jet pump serves the purpose of generating the vacuum necessary for the brake booster. When no power is applied, the suction jet pump valve is open and has a brake pressure boosting effect.
The suction-jet pump is integrated as a V-shaped element between the engine block and brake booster. The suction-jet-pump valve is connected to this component across a hose line and is located near the hot-film air-mass sensor.
If fault 2F65 is entered, the cause can be a damaged or disconnected air supply line. The corresponding air hoses must be checked for leaks. Furthermore, the plug-in contact between suction-jet-pump valve and HFM is to be checked for leak-tightness!
