Charge-air temperature sensor DDE6.0/6.2/6.3

The charge-air temperature sensor detects the temperature of the intake air compressed by the turbocharger.

Important: On the M67TÜ, two charge-air temperature sensors are fitted in the left and right intake ports. What is described below applies to both of the charge-air temperature sensors.

The charge-air temperature sensor is located on the charge-air pipe between the intercooler and the EGR valve. The DDE control unit detects the temperature of the charge air by the variable impedance of the sensor.
