The air distribution is by means of a stepper motor. The stepper motor for adjusting the total of 3 air distribution flaps is mounted directly behind the cam disc.
The control panel/control unit drives the stepper motor (corresponding to the required position) when the rotary control for air distribution is operated. The cam disc moves the air distribution flaps by means of the central kinematics. A time of approx. 18 seconds is required for an adjustment range of 180°.
Two cams of different width are mounted on the cam disc for the purpose of determining the actual position of cam disc 1.
This cam switches a microswitch 2. This switching serves as the feedback for the position of the stepper motor and cam disc.
