Complaint

Grating noise from the area of the centre console. Decorative panel between the centre console and dashboard grates.

Vehicles concerned: left-hand drive vehicles

Cause

Contact of decorative panel between the centre console and dashboard.

Repair instruction

1. Remove the decorative panel for centre console in accordance with repair instructions RA 5116212.
   
2. Stick a fabric or felt strip only on the decorative panel for the centre console on the passenger's side. See Fig. 1.
