Floating the rear shelf locking mechanism

Important note:

Always float both rear shelf locking mechanisms.

1. Open the roof until the rear shelf locking mechanism is accessible. See Fig. 1.
   
2. Loosen the mounting screws until the rear shelf locking mechanism can be moved easily.
   
3. Continue the opening procedure until the roof package has been stored in the luggage compartment and the rear shelf locking mechanism can float.
   
4. Fix the rear shelf locking mechanism in this position.
   
5. Close the roof until all the screws of the rear shelf locking mechanism are accessible.
   
6. Tighten the screws of the rear shelf locking mechanism.
   Note:
   the rear shelf locking mechanism must not twist when you tighten the screws.
