Foam part in the centre roof shell

Repair instruction for foam part in the centre roof shell

Check that the foam part is present and in the correct position.

1. Check whether a foam part is fitted in the centre roof shell seal.
   If no foam part is present, a foam part must be fitted.
   
2. Check the position of the foam part. See Fig. 2.
   Note:
   if the position of the foam part is incorrect, a new foam part must be fitted. The foam part cannot be shifted.

Carefully pull the sealing lip downwards and check whether a foam part (1) is fitted.

The correct position of the foam part is from the start (2) of the slanted cut (1) of the seal vertically (3) downwards.
