Reprogramming DDE 3.0/4.0/4.1 calibrations

Purpose

This service function must then be carried out if one of the following internal control-module faults is stored:

• DDE 3.0: Fault code 42, DDE control module (EEPROM and configuration)
  
• DDE 4.0: Fault code 1640, DDE control module (EEPROM and configuration)
  
• DDE 4.1 Master: Fault code 1640, DDE control module (EEPROM and configuration)
  
• DDE 4.1 Slave: Fault code 1641, DDE control module (EEPROM and configuration)
  

Function

This service function implements the following actions automatically in the DDE control modules:

• Read out adjustment values
  
• New description of calibrations with the read-out values
  
• Programming of calibrations in order to store the values permanently
  

The checksums for the adjustments are recalculated by description and programming of the calibrations. Existing checksum faults are thus eliminated.
