Door cannot be opened from outside

Complaint

Doors cannot be opened using outer door handle. Door handle does not catch.

Cause

The retaining clip of the Bowden cable of the outer door handle is mounted too far to the rear.
This means that during opening the release lever on the rotary catch lock is no longer reached.

Repair instruction

In the event of a complaint, mount the retaining clip further forwards.

Series solution

As 2nd December 2003, the retaining clip is mounted in the right position.
