Service function 'Delete persistent data'

The Clean Energy control module (CESG) of the BMW Hydrogen 7 vehicle saves essential values in an internal data area. This is mode-specific: so-called ”persistent” data. Data of this nature is, for example, counters that decide when the next leak test has to be executed for the hydrogen fuel tank system within the framework of workshop stays.

Deleting this data area means resetting the CE control modules to all the original (default) values that prevail in a new control module.

Under certain circumstances, it might be necessary to reset this memory area in the workshop. An exact list based on current data for these circumstances is provided in the test module.
