On the M67TÜ, an ambient-pressure sensor is integrated in each of the two DDE control modules. The ambient-pressure sensor cannot be replaced separately.

If one of the two ambient-pressure sensors is detected as defective, one or more of the following faults are stored in the corresponding DDE control module:
In this case, a substitute value calculated from the charge-air pressure is used or, if the charge-air pressure sensor is defective, a substitute value is output.
