With certain DDE software versions in the E65, the speed marks of the cruise control must be deleted using this service function.
The following software versions are affected:
if the DDE control module is flashed up from an older version to one of these two versions, the speed marks of the cruise control have to be deleted.
The DDE- software version can be read out using the control-module functions. The data version contains the DDE software version. The last three characters of the data version correspond to the software version.
Example: data version O_82PQ5B means software version Q5.B.
