A/C compressor transport lock-out
In order to protect the A/C compressor from damage after initial filling of the coolant circuit , the A/C compressor is electronically inhibited by the control unit on vehicles designated for long transport distances.
The transport lock-out prevents the A/C compressor with discharged refrigerator oil from being switched on at high speeds during charging and discharging procedures after transport.
