Repair instruction for fixing and sealing the water drainage channel

Correctly position the water drainage channel and form a seal.

  1. Remove the window cavity cover strip.
  2. Raise the water drainage channel, see Fig. 1, and clean the cavity sealing compound off the contact surfaces.
  3. Apply butyl underneath the water drainage channel and bring the channel into the right position. Use butyl to seal off the water drainage channel flush at the transition to body. See Fig. 1.
