Repair instruction for the lamp covers of the headlights

The following illustrations show headlight from various manufacturers and the difference between halogen headlights and xenon headlights.

Check that all the lamp covers of the headlights are correctly fastened.

• The retaining lugs of the lamp covers must not be damaged and must be correctly seated in the headlight.
  
• Retaining clips must not be bent or damaged and must snap into place correctly.
  
• There must be no cables or foreign body in the seal area.
  
• The seal and the seal bed must not be damaged.
