The CBS (Condition Based Service) handover inspection writes necessary data into the vehicle. this is:
- Phone numbers for BMW dealers, Technical Advice and Roadside Assistance
- Date for vehicle inspection and exhaust-gas test
- Date of first registration
- Reset of annual distance driven
- Activate/deactivate vehicle inspection and exhaust-gas test
- Initialize TeleService (only with SA 605 or SA 607)
- Deactivate transport mode
Recurring data is entered for the first time in the tester and is then available as preconfigured. Changes to it can be entered at ”CBS correction tester data”. The tester date can be corrected using the ”Administration” item in the tester main menu.
